Coloring Book
I created this coloring book using a mix of real and surreal images to spark one's imagination. My prompt for this project was simple: design a coloring book that represents a single color per page. The user would then enlist many shades of that color to complete the page. The book could be used as a learning tool to teach children color, shading, and value. I combined hand drawings with elements developed in Adobe Illustrator to create the surreal designs. The covers were glued onto book board and the book was then hand bound. The final product is 8.75 in x 8.75 in (22.2 cm X 22.2 cm).
